Here’s a quick walkthrough of where each part of your form pulls its text styling from. These styles can be modified through your Stack Specific Design → Headings & Paragraphs. Hover over the stack your form is in and click the pencil on the right hand side to bring up the menu.
The form field size (which takes after the Paragraph text styling) isn’t customisable at the moment. They’re locked at 15px as this follows best website practices.
Please Note: The text colour and sizing for form dropdown items cannot be customised. The text colour will be grey (refer to the example below).
If you are on a Pro plan, you will have access to more form settings, like Heading sections. This takes after the Small heading text styling.
If you do have any questions at all, please reach out to the Customer Support team at support@rocketspark.com.
Frequently asked questions
Can I make the text in my form fields bigger?
Not at the moment. The text inside your form fields is set at 15px, so it stays easy to read on both desktop and mobile.
Why is the text in my form dropdown grey?
Dropdown items in your form use a fixed grey colour and size, so they can’t be changed. This applies to every Rocketspark form, so nothing has gone wrong with yours.
How do I change the font on my contact form?
Your form takes its text styles from the stack it sits in. To change them, open the stack’s design settings and go to Headings & Paragraphs. The text in your form fields follows your Paragraph style.
Will changing these styles affect other text on my page?
The styles are set at the stack level. Any other headings or paragraphs in the same stack will change too.
Can I add headings inside my form?
Yes, if you’re on the Pro plan. You’ll have access to extra form settings, including Heading sections. These headings follow your Small heading style.
Can I change how the message looks after someone sends my form?
Yes. See How to edit the success message design of your form for the steps.
