Adding a file upload field to your forms is a great way to collect documents, images, or other files directly from your website visitors. Whether you’re gathering resumes, design briefs, or supporting documents, this feature makes it easy for your users to share files with you securely.
Please note: The File Uploads feature is available after the 20th of January 2025 on selected plans. If this feature is not displaying on your dashboard after this date, you may be on a plan without this feature or a plan that will not include the new features until your next subscription renewal. How do you view files submitted to a form?
Once customers start using file uploads in a form, to view these files submitted, this will be within your "Form Inbox". You will still be notified via email that a new submission has been sent but you can only download the file through the Rocketspark Form Inbox. This is to help protect you from downloading anything risky (Rocketspark has advanced security that protects you from being hacked).
- Within your Rocketspark dashboard, navigate to "Form Inbox"
- Click on the new form submitted - or search/filter for the specific form
- A sidebar will pop up on the right-hand side of your screen with all details within the form.
You can click the downward arrow next to each file to download these to your device
Please note, that only the admin user of the Rocketspark account or form manager can view form submissions (if you are logged in with designer or another team access, the submissions will be restricted)
