Registering a business number on Rocketspark allows you to have a unique, trackable phone number for your website. This number forwards calls directly to your main line while letting you measure how many calls your site generates.
Access phone number settings
Log in to your Rocketspark dashboard
From the left-hand menu, click on Phone Numbers under the Admin section

Click on the button Register your phone number.
You must have an active card on your account before proceeding. If you do not have a card (or your card has expired), a pop-up will appear for you to first add this card to your account.
If you are on a free trial, you’ll see a prompt to upgrade your website plan before you can proceed.
Step one - Select a number:

Choose your region from the dropdown list (e.g., Auckland, Waikato).
(Country will be pre-set to New Zealand, more countries to come in future.
Click Search

A list of available numbers in your chosen region will appear for you to select one number
You can "load more" to see more available numbers if needed.
If there are no available numbers for your region, choose a different region or come back later when more may be available.
Click "Select" on a number to proceed to the next step.
Step two - Business details

Please enter your first and last name, your business/company name, contact phone number, and business address correctly.
For your number to pass verification, it is important that you ensure all of your business details are correct (and match your official records for your registered business).
If you do not enter details correctly, your number will not verify for you to re-do.
Click Submit to move on.
Step three: Payment
Review your business details once more before payment - click edit details to update.
Choose if you wish to pay monthly or annually for this service.

Enter your email address, to which you will receive all verification updates.
Accept the terms and conditions.
Click Confirm Payment.
Verification process
Once payment is complete, your request goes through verification (this usually takes 24–48 hours).
You’ll be redirected to the Phone Numbers page, where the number will appear with a Pending status.
An email confirmation will notify you once verification succeeds or fails.
Phone number forwarding:
While waiting for verification, you can set your call forwarding number. A forwarding number can be your usual personal phone number, the number that you wish for all calls from your business number to be redirected to. Learn more about forwarding numbers.
In the table for your business number, click the field to set your forwarding number.

Type in the number you would like calls from your business number to be forwarded to, then click the tick icon
Exclude +64 in the number; this will already be applied.
Try to avoid "0800" numbers for the forwarding number as there may be delays for the caller to get through.
What happens next
Once verified, you’ll receive an Active status on your number and can begin receiving tracked calls.
