While Rocketspark doesn’t have a built-in QR code generator, there are two easy ways to add one to your website — either by embedding a QR code widget through a third-party service (like Elfsight) or by creating and uploading a QR code image using a free online generator.
Option 1: Embed a QR code widget (using Elfsight)
You can create and embed a QR code widget directly on your site through a third-party service like Elfsight.
- Head to Elfsight and select the type of QR code you’d like to display on your website — they offer several styles and options.
(Example: You can link it to a web page, display contact info, or share a file.) - Customise your QR code’s appearance and settings to suit your site’s look and purpose.
Once you’re happy with it, click Publish.
Copy the HTML embed code provided by Elfsight.
Go to your Rocketspark website editor and add a Custom HTML code block where you’d like the QR code to appear.
Follow this guide: How to add a custom HTML code block to your website - embed widgets?
Option 2: Upload a QR code image (using a free generator)
If you’d rather not use a third-party widget, you can easily create a QR code image and upload it to your website.
Visit a free QR code generator such as QRFY.com or QR Code Generator.
Enter the link, text, or file you’d like the QR code to point to.
Customise the design if you’d like (you can change the colours, shapes, or add a logo).
Download the finished QR code image (usually as a .png or .jpg file).
Head to your Rocketspark website editor and add a Picture block where you want the QR code to appear - Picture Block - How to add and edit an image.
Upload the QR code image — and you’re all set!
Tip:
If your QR code links to a specific campaign, menu, or PDF, test it on your phone first before publishing it live — just to make sure it’s linking exactly where you want.
