How to manage users on a member's private login website

If you have a private login website, you can follow this guide on how to manage your users. 

How to add a user
How to activate a user
How to reset a password for a user
How to delete/remove a user

1. Log in to the Rocketspark Dashboard How do I log in to my website Dashboard?
2. Head to the site editor
3. Scroll to the very bottom of your website and in the copyright footer, click on the Manage Users link
   
4. In the Manage Users screen, you will be able to see a list of people who have signed up for your private login site. 

How to add a User - manually: 

1. Once in Manage Users, head to the button 'Add User'
2. You will then need to fill out all the details here:
   
3. Please make sure to hit the 'Add' button at the bottom
4. The person will appear in the list of your users
5. Then you will need to manually let the customer know that their account has been set up and what the username (email) and password is - there is no automated process for this. 

How to activate a user: 

Follow this process if they have already signed up for the members portal and you just need to activate their account. 

1. Log in to the Rocketspark Dashboard How do I log in to my website Dashboard?
2. Head to the site editor
3. Scroll to the very bottom of your website and in the copyright footer click on the Manage Users link
   

4. Click on the user you would like to activate and select 'Edit' next to their name

   

5. Once there, you will see their details, and below this is the option to activate the user
   
6. Make sure to click 'Save User Details'
7. After this is done, you can let the user know that they can log into the website - this is not an automated process. 

How to reset a password for a user: 

1. Log in to the Rocketspark Dashboard How do I log in to my website Dashboard?
2. Head to the site editor
3. Scroll to the very bottom of your website and in the copyright footer click on the Manage Users link
   
4. Sroll to the user you would like to activate and select 'Edit' next to their name
   
5. You will need to manually add in a password
   
6. From there, you will need to let the user know what the password has been reset to - this is not an automated process.

How to delete/remove a user: 

1. Log in to the Rocketspark Dashboard How do I log in to my website Dashboard?
2. Head to the site editor
3. Scroll to the very bottom of your website and in the copyright footer click on the Manage Users link
   
4. Head to the user you would like to activate and select 'Edit' next to their name
   
5. In the grey area next to the 'Edit User Details', there is a button to 'Delete User'
   
   
6. A pop-up will appear to confirm the deletion.
