You can track who's visiting your Rocketspark website, where they're coming from, and which pages they view using Google Analytics (a free reporting tool from Google). Once it's connected, you'll see a traffic graph right on your Dashboard, and you can set up monthly email reports too.
This guide covers how to get website statistics, visitor reports, and traffic tracking set up for your site.
Setting up Google Analytics for your Rocketspark website
Google Analytics is a free service from Google that shows you detailed information about your website visitors, including how many people visited, where they came from, how they found you, whether they're new or returning, which pages they looked at, and how long they stayed.
You only need to set it up once and it covers your whole site, so there's no need to configure it page by page.
Step 1 — Create a Google Analytics account and connect it to your site
Follow our step-by-step guide to create your Google Analytics account and connect a traffic graph to your Dashboard:
How to create a new Google Analytics account (GA4) and connect a graph to your website Dashboard
Once this is done, you'll see a visitor traffic graph on your Dashboard as soon as you log in.
Step 2 — Set up monthly visitor reports by email
You can also receive a monthly email report summarising your website traffic. To enable this, you'll need your GA4 tracking ID.
Follow this guide to get your tracking ID and turn on monthly reports:

What can I see in Google Analytics?
Once Google Analytics is connected, you'll have access to information like:
- Total visitors — how many people visited your site over any time period
- Traffic sources — whether visitors came from Google, social media, a direct link, or somewhere else
- New vs returning visitors — how many are visiting for the first time
- Pages viewed — which pages are most popular
- Time on site — how long visitors spend browsing
- Location — where in the world your visitors are based
You can view all of this in your Google Analytics account, and you'll see a summary traffic graph on your Rocketspark Dashboard.
Tips and things to watch out for
- Google Analytics won't show data from before it was connected. The sooner you set it up, the sooner you start collecting visitor information.
- It can take up to 24 hours for data to start appearing after you first connect Analytics.
- Your own visits to your site will be counted in the traffic numbers. If you're editing your site frequently, keep that in mind when reading your reports.
