Are you trying to upgrade your Rocketspark account or trying to update your card details but it keeps failing?
There are a few reasons that this can happen so we have a few things that you should check:
1) Do you have enough funds in your account?
In the account that your card is connected to, are there enough funds within that account to upgrade this account or replace the card on your Rocketspark account as it will charge you $1 to verify your card. If not, that will be why your payment is not going through.
2) Does your card provider have additional card security steps?
When you are making the payment, are you asked to verify or confirm the payment within your bank's mobile app? Does it still fail?
If so, this can be related to the 3D secure on your card itself that may not be reconfigured correctly. We have noticed that this occurs fairly often with BNZ cards. To fix these sort of issues, you will need to get in contact with your bank and mention that this is occurring. The response code that you will receive from Windcave when this issue occurs is EV. A response code tells us the reasoning for your payment to fail and what action we should take.
To find out the reasoning for your payment to fail, you can head to this page here https://www.windcave.com/developer-integrated-eftpos-responsecodes and compare the response code you received to the list of codes on this page. This will help you figure out the cause of why the payment didn't go through.
In situations like this, it is always best to contact your bank to see why your payments are being blocked and they should be able to help.
