Rocketspark doesn't have built-in dropshipping (where your suppliers send orders directly to your customers), but you can set up a basic version by sending order confirmations straight to your suppliers. This works well for smaller shops. For larger or more complex operations, a dedicated dropshipping or third-party fulfilment platform may suit you better.
If you have several suppliers: use email rules
Set up a rule in your email inbox to forward order confirmations to the right supplier automatically. For example, if an email comes from info@rocketsparkmailer.com and contains a particular product name, forward it to that product's supplier. Each supplier then receives the orders they need to dispatch, without you forwarding them by hand.
If you have one supplier: add them as a recipient
You can send your order confirmation emails directly to your supplier as well as to yourself. Set this up in Store Preferences. See How can I send orders to multiple addresses? for the steps.
Things to know before you set this up
- Each supplier sees the full order, including the customer's details and any products they don't supply. If a customer orders from more than one supplier, everyone receives the whole order.
- All payments go into one bank account, so you'll need to pay your suppliers manually once each payment comes through.
