Featured posts are a great way to highlight blog posts so important blog posts don’t get lost in the rest of your posts. Featured posts appear at the top of your blog home page. Also, if you are using the grid view on the blog home page, the featured post will also be larger and more prominent.
To feature a post, when you are in Editor Mode, you can either select the star next to the blog heading on the blog home page:
