Delete self as admin or super admin
If you are an administrator or super administrator for your organisation, you can’t delete your own account. You need to assign super administrator privileges to another user, and have them delete your account.
Restore a deleted user
You can restore a recently deleted account for only up to 20 days. For details, go to Restore a recently deleted user.
Delete or cancel your Google Workspace subscription
If you would like to suspend your Google Workspace subscription, you can do so through the Rocketspark Google Workspace settings.
- Go to your Google Workspace settings through Rocketspark
- Click Suspend Workspace Subscription on the right-hand side
- A popup will appear confirming that you would like to suspend the Workspace subscription. Select Suspend Workspace to continue with cancelling your Workspace subscription.
- After a few minutes, your Google Workspace subscription will be set to cancel when your subscription is set to renew. This means that the emails and Workspace services should still be accessible until the next subscription billing period.
FAQ: How do I change who is the "Admin" for our account?
The Admin (or Administrator) is the person with the "master keys" to your Google Workspace. They can add or remove users, reset passwords, and manage your billing. If the person currently in charge is leaving, or you want to share these tasks with someone else, follow the steps below.
1. How to give someone Admin powers
If you are already an Admin, you can easily promote someone else to help you.
Log in to the Google Admin Console.
Go to Users and click on the name of the person you want to promote.
Scroll down to Admin roles and privileges.
Click the switch for Super Admin so it turns On (it will turn blue).
Click Save.

2. How to remove Admin powers from an old user
If a previous Admin is staying with the company but no longer needs "master" access:
In the Users list, click the person’s name.
Go to Admin roles and privileges.
Click the switch for Super Admin to Off.
Click Save.

3. What if I am locked out or the Admin has already left?
If your only Admin has left the company and you don't have their password, you won't be able to log in to the Admin Console. You will need to prove to Google that you own the business domain (e.g., yourbusiness.com).
Step A: Try the Google Account Recovery page.
Step B: If that doesn't work, you can use Google's Support-Assisted Recovery. You will be asked to add a special code to your website settings to prove you own it.

Quick Tips for Success:
Have two Admins: We recommend having at least two people with "Super Admin" powers. If one person loses their phone or forgets their password, the other can help them get back in.
Don't delete yourself: You cannot delete your own account if you are the only Admin. You must make someone else an Admin first, then have them delete your old account.
4. How to add another domain name to Google Workspace
If your business has a second domain name (e.g., a rebrand or alternate spelling) and you want it to work with your Google Workspace:
- Sign in to the Google Admin Console at admin.google.com.
- Go to Account > Domains > Manage Domains.
- Click Add a domain.
- Enter the domain name and choose whether to add it as a secondary domain or a domain alias.
- Follow the steps to verify ownership — this usually means adding a TXT record to your domain's DNS settings (your domain host, e.g. GoDaddy, Namecheap, or Rocketspark, is where you'd do this).
- Once verified, the domain will be active in your Workspace.

5. How to set a password for a new Google Workspace user
When you add a new user, you'll need to set them up with a password so they can log in:
- In the Admin Console, go to Directory > Users.
- Click Add new user and fill in their details.
- In the password field, either enter a temporary password yourself or tick Automatically generate a password.
- Tick Ask for a password change at the next sign-in — this is good practice so the user sets their own private password.
- Click Add new user to finish, then share the temporary password with them securely.
