Our email system has a number of features built into their email service to allow you to stop receiving spam from email addresses. The most useful tool to deal with spam is the blacklist. Below we will show you a few helpful tips for reducing the amount of spam that you are receiving.
Blacklist
If you are receiving a number of spam emails from a particular source you can add them to your blacklist. Any emails sent to you from a domain, email, or IP address added to your blacklist will be blocked and not delivered to your inbox. You can view your Blacklist by following these steps:
- Click the Settings link, located in the top right-hand corner
- On the left-hand side click Spam settings
- Click the Blacklist option
Adding a domain, email, or IP address to your Blacklist
- Once in the Blacklist click the Add button
- In the box provided enter:
- A domain or email address (it is recommended not to block large email clients such as "@gmail.com" or @hotmail.com" as this may stop legitimate mail
- An IP address
Note: The "%" can be used as a wildcard in place of text. For example "@%.ru" would stop any emails with an ending or ".ru"
- Click the Add button
- Click Save
Removing a domain, email, or IP address from your Blacklist
- Follow the steps above under Blacklist to navigate to the blacklist page
- Click the corresponding Delete on the information you would like to remove
- Click Yes to confirm you would like to delete the item
- Click Save
Reporting an email as spam
To report any emails that seem to be unfiltered spam do one of the following:
- Select or open an email
- Click Report Spam
Or to select multiple emails at once:
- Click the Select Action drop-down menu
- Select Report Spam
Note: Please do not mark any Rocketspark emails as spam as it will stop our ability to send emails to you. This could mean that you don't receive any invoices or even form submissions from your website.
