Moving blocks between stacks in Rocketspark helps keep your website clean, organised, and easy to navigate. It lets you group related content, maintain a consistent design, and improve how your site looks on mobile. Plus, it makes editing and linking to sections simpler down the track. A small tweak that makes a big difference in how your site flows!
Please note that this needs to be done on a page. If you want to move a block throughout the website you will need to copy the entire stack to the page and then move the block. How to copy a stack
How to achieve moving blocks:
- Log in to the dashboard of your site
- Head to the stack that you would like the stack moved from
- You will see an arrows icon when you hover over the block you want to move. This icon is usually in between the pencil icon and the rubbish bin icon.
- You will then see a horizontal blue line appear, which indicates where the block will be placed if you 'let' go of the block.
- You can then see that the block has been moved, and there is an empty stack above. You can then delete the empty stack.
