Why can't I see my website?

There are many possible reasons why your website cannot be accessed and don't perform the way it is intended. Most common causes are hardware malfunction, planned upgrades/maintenance, hijacking and environmental disasters. Below are some of the reasons why you may not be able to see your website. 

These are the things that you should check when your website crashes or can't be accessed:

• Check that there is nothing wrong with the device you are using to access the website
  
  • Can you access other websites?
  • Is your device connected to the internet?
  • Try closing your web browser and re-open it.
  • Try restarting your device.
  • Try accessing the website using another device.
  • Have someone else open or test your website to confirm 
• Check that your internet connection is working
  
  • Can you access other websites?
  • Are you connected to the internet?
  • Try closing your web browser and re-open it.
  • Try reconnecting to the internet.
  • Have someone else open or test your website to confirm
• If you think it is not hardware related or not an internet connection problem, then:
  
  • Check that you have set your website online in your Rocketspark Dashboard
    
  • Try accessing your website from your dashboard by clicking on your website's URL
    
  • In your Rocketspark Dashboard, on the Domain Names page, check that there are no issues by making sure that green lights are showing. If there are red or yellow lights showing (see image below for example), then there is an issue. Check the problem by clicking on the domain name.
    
  • Check if you can edit the DNS record in your Rocketspark Dashboard. If so, make sure that the A and CNAME records are pointing at Rocketspark.
  • Check Rocketspark's Network Status page, where you can check if there are any scheduled upgrades/updates and network outages occurring
    
  • Check if your domain provider is having an outage. You can follow the links to the main domain providers' status pages below:
