Rocketspark pricing covers three main areas: your website subscription, your domain name (web address), and your business email. This guide breaks down how each one works, what's included, and where to find current pricing for your region.
Your website subscription is the core cost. Domain names and email are optional extras, billed separately.
How much does a Rocketspark website cost?
Your website subscription is a monthly or annual plan that includes everything you need to build and run your site: hosting, the website editor, phone and email support, SSL security, automatic updates, and access to all Rocketspark templates.
There are two groups of plans depending on whether you need an online store.
Website Builder plans
These are for websites that don't need a full online store. There are three tiers:
- Website Builder — the essentials for a polished website.
- Website Builder Pro — for growing businesses that need more from their site, including more forms and a more detailed analytics dashboard.
- Website Builder Pro+ — for businesses expanding globally, with unlimited site storage and geo-redirection.
Ecommerce plans
These are for websites with an online store. There are three tiers:
- Ecommerce Lite — to get started selling online with up to 10 products.
- Ecommerce Grow — for growing stores with up to 400 products, plus features like customer accounts and coupons.
- Ecommerce Pro — for larger stores with unlimited products and advanced tools like subscriptions and Lightspeed integration.
All plans are available as monthly or annual subscriptions. Annual plans offer a saving compared to paying monthly. Every plan includes a free domain name for your first year.

Domain name costs
A domain name is your website address (for example, yourbusiness.co.nz or yourbusiness.com). You can register a new domain or transfer an existing one to Rocketspark.
Domain pricing varies depending on the extension you choose (the part after the dot, like .co.nz, .com, or .com.au). When you go to register or transfer a domain in your Dashboard, the pricing for your chosen domain will be displayed before you confirm.
Every paid Rocketspark plan includes one new domain name free for your first year. After that, your domain renews annually at the standard rate for that extension. If you need additional domain names, each one is charged separately.

Business email costs
Rocketspark offers business email through Google Workspace. This gives you a professional email address that matches your domain (for example, hello@yourbusiness.co.nz), along with access to Google's productivity tools like Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Calendar, and Google Meet.
Google Workspace is available in three tiers:
- Business Starter — email with 30 GB of storage per user.
- Business Standard — more storage and additional collaboration features.
- Business Plus — the largest storage allocation and advanced security features.
Google Workspace through Rocketspark costs the same as buying direct from Google, with the added benefit of local support from the Rocketspark Customer Success team and everything managed from one Dashboard.
Business email is not included in your website subscription. It's an optional extra, billed separately per user. You can add Google Workspace from your Dashboard under Google Workspace.

Tips and things to watch out for
- Use the country selector in the footer of the Rocketspark website to make sure you're seeing pricing in your local currency.
- Annual plans save you money compared to monthly billing. You can switch between monthly and annual from your Dashboard.
- You can switch between plans at any time from your Dashboard, so you're not locked in.
- Domain and email costs are separate from your website subscription. Factor these in when budgeting for your website.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a free trial? Yes. Rocketspark offers a 30-day free trial with access to all features. You won't be charged when the trial ends, and you don't need to enter payment details to start.
Can I change my plan later? Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your Dashboard.
Do I have to buy my domain and email through Rocketspark? No. You can use an existing domain name with your Rocketspark website, and you're free to use any email provider. Managing everything through Rocketspark keeps things in one place, but it's not required.
What payment methods does Rocketspark accept? Rocketspark accepts Visa and Mastercard credit or debit cards for all subscriptions.
What happens if I cancel? Your website goes offline when you cancel. Rocketspark keeps your website data for two months, so you can re-upgrade and pick up where you left off within that time. You'll need to decide what to do with your domain and email, as Rocketspark can continue hosting those separately, or you can transfer them to another provider.
Can I pause my subscription instead of cancelling? You can't pause from the Dashboard, but if you contact the Customer Success team, they can put you on a reduced-price "on hold" plan that stores your data until you're ready to relaunch.
