Note: When pasting text from another application that has styling applied to the text, the specific styling will not be applied in the Rocketspark text field. This helps to ensure you can use the font controls at a site-wide level or on the specific stack you are working on.
Advanced users: You can add styling to the source code of the text field using the <> icon in the text editor. This allows styling code to be added which will override the stack and site-wide settings.
Frequently asked questions
How do I add a new line without creating a new paragraph? Press Shift + Enter at the same time. This adds a single line break directly below your current line, keeping it within the same text block rather than starting a new paragraph.
Can I paste text from Word or Google Docs? Yes, but any styling from the original document won't carry across. This is by design so your site-wide and stack-level font settings stay in control.
Can I add custom styling to my text? Advanced users can add styling via the source code editor using the <> icon in the text editor. Note that this will override your stack and site-wide settings.
What's the difference between H1, H2, and H3 headings? These are heading levels that help structure your page for both readers and search engines. See How do I use headings correctly? for guidance.
