This support guide will walk you through how to set up a temporary 'Coming Soon!' page or 'Under Construction' homepage. This may be a good idea if your domain name is live and pointing to your new website but you're not quite ready to show it to the world just yet.
- Log into your dashboard and click Manage Pages in the left-hand menu.
- Add a new page, and call it 'Coming Soon' or similar to make it identifiable.
- Drag it to the top of the list so it's the first page.
- Set this page as Online by changing the toggle from grey to green.
- Make all other pages Offline (red).
- Drag the line which determines which pages should appear in your menu to the top, just below your new 'Coming Soon' page.
- Click on the page to navigate to it. You will see that the menu is hidden and you have a blank page with your logo on it and your selected colours.
- Add a stack.
- Add a text block inside the stack and write the coming soon message text you would like to display.
- You could add any other blocks you might like, one suggestion is a contact form with a heading that says "Register your interest".
- Finally, set your website as "online" on your dashboard home.
- If you are using the Rocketspark shop tools and don't want your shop products to be visible yet, make sure your shop is set to "offline" by checking the shop status under Manage Store -> Store Preferences
