When upgrading your client's site they will have a few different options to pay for their subscription either you can set it up so that they just need to add in their own payment details, or you can pay on their behalf and on-charge this to your client.
Invite the client to upgrade
This is the easiest way to upgrade a client, you will be able to send the client a link to log in and upgrade, this way you do not need to handle any account details.
You will be able to start the upgrade process first so that they do not need to answer any questions about domains or emails which can be confusing, all they will need to do is fill in the card details and click to go live.
This way is also good as it will require the customer to check the Terms and Conditions themselves.
1. Log in to the client's dashboard and click on Upgrade Now if you are wanting to fill out the details about their domains and emails before they go live.
2. Go to your design studio and click on the settings cog next to the site you are wanting to upgrade and go to site settings.
3. Click on invite client and choose to invite to upgrade
4. If the client does not have a password set up yet or has forgotten their password when they go to log in they can click on Forgot your password? and this will send the account admin a password reset link.
The client has now upgraded and payments will be taken care of by the customer.
Pay on their behalf
The second option is to pay on behalf of your clients where you can pay for this using your own card and billing details and charge this to your client. This can be beneficial if you have other services that they will be paying you for so that you can offer a one-payment option.

2. Once you have finished upgrading you can log in to the My Account section in the dashboard and add your email address as the billing address to ensure that all invoices are sent to you rather than the client.
