Based on your business needs you may need to operate using drop based shipping which means that your stock may come from multiple locations. There are many dedicated platforms/tools that you can use to achieve this on a larger scale, however, we do offer a workaround if you are needing some basic dropshipping functions.
One way to do this would be by setting up smart email rules and forwarding at your email address that you receive the order confirmations to. For example, if emails to your email address are received from email@example.com and the email contains X words then auto-forward this email to X supplier. This way the order will be sent to the correct supplier to dispatch. This option could work well if you have multiple drop shipping locations.
Another option is to set your order confirmation emails to send to another email address which can be done in your Store Preferences section (How can I send orders to multiple addresses). This approach could work well if you only have one dropshipping supplier.
The downside to these approaches is that if a customer makes a purchase from multiple locations that each location would see the customers full order (including any products that are not at their location).
When a payment is made this can only be made to one bank account so if you do need this to go to multiple accounts this will need to be manually sent to different accounts once payment is complete.
