Embedding Google Calendar into a website enhances user engagement and convenience by displaying real-time event information directly on the site. This integration boosts event visibility, improves user experience, and facilitates better time management. It's particularly useful for community events, appointments, or team coordination, promoting seamless interaction and saving users time by avoiding external navigation.
To embed it into your Rocketspark website please follow the instructions below:
- Head to the Google Calendar you would like to embed
- Click on the settings in the top right hand side of the calendar
- Select Settings
- Choose which calendar you would like to be shown on your website
- Scroll to the Integrate calendar
- You can either choose to customise it or leave it as is
- Copy the code that it has given you
- Open up your Rocketspark website and head to where you would like to add to your website.
- Add a new block to the website and select Code Block
- Paste in the code that you had from Google Calendar
- Make sure to hit save and your calendar will appear on your website!
