A cookie is a message that a web server will pass to a web browser when you visit websites. Your browser will store each of these messages in a file.
A cookie is used to track a user's website activity. When you visit some websites the server will pass you a cookie that is used as an ID card. When you revisit the website your browser will pass this cookie back to the server, this will allow the webserver to gather information on what pages you visit the most and ones you are likely to revisit.
UK Customers
Rocketspark in the United Kingdom does have a cookie policy as part of our terms and conditions, this can be found under the heading Cookies.
If your site is on the UK server, you automatically have a cookies policy on your site, at www.yourdomainname/cookie-policy/.
NZ and AU Customers
Currently, we don't automatically have a Cookie policy pop up on our New Zealand and Australian sites/servers however you can still view your cookie Policies at www.yourdomainname/cookie-policy/.
If you want to link to your Cookie policy on your website for your customers to easily view, a good way to do this is to add your Cookie Policy link (as above) to your Copyright Footer area. See how to edit your copyright footer area here.
If you would like an automatic Cookie policy pop up for your customers to accept and you are an NZ or AU customer you can add in a Third Party Cookie policy from Elf-sight via our HTML code block.
If you would like to read more about Rocketspark's Privacy Policy, you can find different terms and conditions for New Zealand and Australia.
