What's a TLD?
Top-level domain extensions (commonly referred to as TLDs) are the last (rightmost) letters of a domain name. For example, a domain such as "www.example.com" has the TLD extension of .com. Sometimes these TLDs are country-specific, this can be referred to as a ccTLD. An example of a ccTLD is "www.example.co.nz" where the ccTLD is .co.nz. ccTLDs are generally automatically geo-targeted in Google search results to the specific country. So if your business is operating solely in the UK you most likely would want a .co.uk domain. Or if you are an international company a .com or .org might be more appropriate.

This allows you to purchase these domains through your site's dashboard either as a pre-registration while on trial or during the upgrade process.
